Suppliers who sumbit a Certificate of Origin are requested to mail the documents involved to the Global Trade department at Access Business Group. Detailed information can be found in the shipping instructions in the Shipping section.

Amway parent company, Alticor Inc., announced global sales exceeding US$ 10.9 billion for the year ended December 31 2011. The results represent 17 percent growth over 2010 annual sales of US$ 9.2 billion. This is the sixth consecutive year of growth for the company, which has posted sales increases 11 out of the past 12 years.

All ‘Pick Up Advice’ and ‘48 Hours Delivery Notice’ forms are updated. Suppliers that ship goods to any of the ABG warehouses in Europe are to ensure the updated forms are used, which can be found in the Shipping Section.

Amway’s parent company, Alticor Inc., reported sales exceeding $ 9.2 billion for the year ended December 31, 2010, a 9.5 percent increase over sales of $ 8.4 billion in 2009. The 2010 performance results mark Alticor’s 10th sales increase in the last 11 years.

In December we are implementing a new supplier quality metric titled ‘Right First Time (RFT) Quality Metric’. Suppliers with access to Supplier Analytics will be able to view the new metric on December 13 2010; the Supplier Analytics dashboard reports and handbooks will be updated with the Right First Time (RFT) Quality Metric. The new metric accurately measures the quality of incoming materials from our supply base, and, provides reporting that includes the necessary information to understand quality issues and improve the metric score.

Suppliers who ship FCA to one of the ABG warehouses in European Union are requested to use the updated 'Pick Up Advice Forms' which can be found in the Shipping section.

Effective immediately the Buying Commission statement, which suppliers are requested to print on the invoices to Access Business Group, is changed. Ensure the updated statement is entered on the applicable invoices.

To maintain our commitment to Amway’s fundamental values, we have updated our Supplier Workplace Code of Conduct for current and potential suppliers. Our customers depend on the quality and value of our products and the underlying integrity of the workplace that produces them. We require all suppliers and their sub-contractors to adhere to these standards. The document can be found in the Procurement section.
Due to the implementation of new warehouse and duty management systems at ABG Venlo, it is no longer possible to change details of an existing item. This includes changes in master shipper quantity or a change in country of origin. Alterations to existing items need to be discussed and agreed upfront with Access Business Group.

On April 14th Access Business Group held its European Supplier Conference 2010, during which Amway’s and Access Business Group’s expectations to suppliers are shared, the importance of Continuity of Supply and Supplier Performance are reinforced and the first European supplier awards are handed out. The 4 category winners 2010 are Drie Mollen Export BV, Storopack Benelux NV, Control Media, and, Capax Australia. Overall winner of the ‘2010 European Excellence in Supply Performance’ award is Control Media.

Amway’s parent company, Alticor Inc., announced record sales of more than US$ 8.4 billion for the year ended December 31 2009, which is a 2.3% increase over 2008. Sales were negatively impacted by foreign currency fluctuations, which in local currency grew 5.9%.
‘Our distributors around the world deserve a lot of credit for persistence in a difficult economic climate. We put a lot of effort into improving our product offerings and building consumer awareness; the distributors put in the work to drive sales to our customers’, said president Doug DeVos.

Effective January 22 2010 Access Business Group in Venlo The Netherlands has been granted the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certificate in the European Union. As an AEO, ABG will be required to make periodic assessments of its international supply chain based on AEO security criteria.
For full container shipments to ABG Venlo The Netherlands, it is now required to complete a Non Fumigation Declaration. This document and the updated FOB shipping instructions can be found in the Shipping section.

Suppliers emailing invoices to our Account Payable department are requested to email the invoices to a new email address: AP.invoices@Amway.com
The new email address for submitting invoices takes effect immediately.
Suppliers dealing with us via EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) continue to submit their invoices via the EDI system.
The document ‘Submitting Invoices for Payment’ in the Accounts Payable section has been updated to reflect this change.
